About Flora and Curl
Flora and Curl was founded by Rose Ovensehi, when she made the bold decision to embrace her natural texture. She mixed up raw oils and botanicals ingredients in her mum’s kitchen, falling in love with aromatherapeutic and colourful botanical ingredients to hydrate her natural hair. This inspired her to create her own range…and Flora and Curl was born!
About the ‘Strengthen Me’ Range
Baobab Marula Restorative Conditioner
This is a lightweight conditioner that focuses more on ingredients that rebuild and strengthen from within. It works to detangle and condition, but doesn’t use any heavy butters or oils that often give conditioners that buttery feeling. Its purposeful, strengthening the strands without heaviness.
After using both the shampoo and conditioner together consistently, I felt like my curls were holding their structure more, the curls more defined too.
Baobab Marula Restorative Bonding Mask
This is an intensive treatment to fortify the hair from within. Their key bond building ingredient is FibreHance™, a clinically proven active that penetrates the hair fibre.
It has a rich array of proteins and bond builders, meaning its focused-on strengthening, not moisturising. It has a silky, buttery texture that feels so smoothing.

This lovely serum has an oil texture, it’s light and gives the hair an instant boost of shine and hydration. The restorative has a cushiony texture, but isn’t greasy and absorbs into the hair beautifully with a light, floral scent. Enriched with broccoli seed, avocado, and castor oils, it helps to make your hair stronger and more resilient with every use… love!
