Mylee’s Game-Changing Gel Nail Wraps

Nails, elevated… no lamp required! Mylee have done it again and have come through with a brand new nail innovation! Introducing the Gel nail wraps… that don’t need a LED/UV light! I’m certainly no expert when it comes to nails but I’m always enthusiastic about trying different things to get beautiful looking nails so these were right up my street.

I’ve been trying out these nail stickers from Mylee for the past week and here’s my thoughts…

How Do Mylee’s Nail Wraps Work?

Prep your nails first – this is an important step! Give them a little buff with your nail file and you can also use Mylee’s prep and shine wipes for the perfect base.

Measure out the correct nail sticker – then all you have to do is apply it. Use the nail stick to press the wrap snugly into the edges of your nail bed for a seamless fit

Here’s the trickiest part: trim down the excess so it’s just above the end of your natural nail. The file away until its flush with your nail.

Then you’re done: and your nails are looking fabulous!

What’s to love

  • They’re pretty quick and easy to do: and come in a gorgeous array of colours and patterns.
  • They’re gentle on the nails: just a sticker that’s placed on top of the nails, no nasties here to dry out your nails.
  • They last well – the material is quite thick so it’s relatively durable, although not as solid as cured nails feel. The adhesive is sticky enough that they can last all week (or even longer)
  • They’re affordable – each set is 13.99 and this includes 20 nails.
  • They have some absolutely stunning nail wrap designs: I’m obsessed! They’ve launched with so many different designs and colours, you’re spoilt for choice!
  • As it’s a soft sticker, I feel like you’re less likely to get chips. You won’t find your whole nail pinging off like you do with false nails, they feel soft and pliable to touch.

If you’re looking for something to lengthen your nails: these are not for you. You need to file these down to the length of your natural nail.

If you have smaller nails like I do, you may have to cut the strips, which is a bit tricky so on my first attempt I did end up with a few less than perfect nails!

They’re quite easy to use and for those who don’t want to use false nails, or use gel polish, this is a great alternative!
